Joanne and Michael hale from London, Ontario, Canada  With retirement looming, and the prospect of more cold winters coming, they decided it was time to make some major life changes.  They both love the Dominican Republic and started to do some Internet searching for property.

They found us online, contacted us, and came for a visit to the DR.  We hit it off immediately.  These are fun and interesting people who fit in like they’ve been here for years.

The liked condos and villas, but settled on a house.  They preferred an existing, resale property.  I showed them several that needed a bit of work, and then one that had been already renovated.  They loved that villa.  Unfortunately, it wasn’t for sale; I just used it as an example  As it turns out, I contacted the owner who had been mulling over selling the property.  A price was accepted and Joanne and Michael bought the house they really wanted.  Some things are just meant to be.

The villa is a small two bedroom, but there is plenty of room to add additional space if necessary . The pool and yard are very large and so well manicured with lots of flowers and beautiful landscaping.  They will likely add a palapa beside the pool to provide additional outdoor living space and maybe another guest bedroom.
